Panamint Dunes

Our destination, from up close

Another fabulous location, fine crew, splendid weather outing organized and lead by Paul.  We all thank you.  This time we headed to the Panamint Dunes.  I have wanted to go for years, and when this opportunity came up, we jumped on it.  And did I mention the day was perfect.

Our happy crew.  Photo courtesy of Paul Decker.

Yes, those ant dots on the dunes are part of the group climbing up

getting closer

and closer

We made it.  Now it is time for lunch.

It is hard to get a feel for how tall the dunes are, but the ants on top are our group.
