Paul organized another excellent Any Day Hiker outing.  We did a loop hike through Rockhouse Basin and back via the PCT.  Glorious weather and good company.  The flowers were still several weeks away, but we enjoyed the views.

The Desert Blooms

My expectations for desert flowers this year were very low.  Mostly that has been true, but we have stumbled across a few amazing patches where the rain and sun combo was just right.  We also stumbled across an area with amazing patches of flowers.  We went there twice this week!
